About the Conference

GeoHab 2012 takes place Tuesday, May 1 through Friday, May 4, 2012 at Rosario Resort and Spa on Orcas Island.

This year's conference is hosted by SeaDoc/Tombolo and the Canadian Geological Survey and is convened by H. Gary Greene and Vaughn Barrie.

Theme: Habitat Characterization and Mapping in Coastal and Inland Seas

Rosario Resort is Orcas Island's premiere destination resort. Please visit their website at http://rosarioresort.com for more information. Accommodations will be available at the resort and are not included in the conference. You can also stay elsewhere on Orcas Island. Details forthcoming.

Pre- and Post-Conference Activities

There is a pre-conference workshop scheduled for Monday, April 30th. There is a field trip on Friday, May 4th.
