Junior SeaDoctors

Launched in Spring 2019, Junior SeaDoctors was a free virtual club that provides young adventurers with the tools they need to interact with the wildlife of the Salish Sea.

It lives on in the form of a marine-science curriculum for 5th and 6th graders that is built upon our popular kids’ book, Explore the Salish Sea: A Nature Guide for Kids. Each unit is customizable to support connecting kids with ecosystems in your own Indigenous or non-Indigenous community.

The curriculum is now hosted by our friends and collaborators at the Pacific Education Institute, where it can flourish and inspire young people for years to come.
