June is Orca Action Month and we’re excited to share the trailer for a documentary film that features our own Deborah Giles and Eba. Managed to Extinction is Part 2 in a three-part documentary series. It features Jay Julius and Giles as both work to address the shared extinction threat faced by Southern Resident Killer Whales and the Chinook salmon they need to survive. Watch the trailer below:

About the filmmaker: Jessica Plumb is an award-winning filmmaker and writer known for exploring the relationship between people, and the land and waters that sustain us. She is the Director of three short films addressing the shared extinction threat facing resident orcas and Chinook salmon in the Salish Sea, a trilogy co-produced with Original Pursuit Inc. and series Producer Bayley Silleck.
